BOSTITCH is confident of the quality of its products and offers a guarantee for professional users of the product. This guarantee statement is in addition to and in no way prejudices your contractual rights as a professional user or your statutory rights as a private non-professional user. The guarantee is valid within Australia and New Zealand.
BOSTITCH warrants to the original retail purchaser that the product purchased is free from defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to repair or replace, at BOSTITCH's option, any defective BOSTITCH branded pneumatic stapler or nailer for a period of seven (7) years from date of purchase, one [1] year from the date of purchase for BOSTITCH compressors and tools used in production applications.
- This warranty covers only damage resulting from defects in material or workmanship;
- It does not cover conditions or malfunctions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, accident or repairs attempted or made by other than our national repair center or authorized warranty service centers.
- Driver blades, bumpers, O-rings, pistons and piston rings are considered normally wearing parts. For optimal performance of your BOSTITCH tool, always use genuine BOSTITCH fasteners and replacement parts.
- The product must returned complete with all original components
- Warranty is not transferable beyond the original purchaser
- Proof of purchase is required when making warranty claim
How to make a warranty claim
(a) Any product subject to a warranty claim should be returned to the place of purchase for assessment by a Stanley Black Decker Australia distributor or representative. You are responsible for returning the product to the place of purchase.
(b) You must present proof of purchase when making a warranty claim.
(c) The claim under this warranty (you may have additional rights under the Australian Consumer Law) will be assessed by a Stanley Australia distributor or representative on the basis of their product knowledge and reasonable judgment and will be accepted if:
(i) a relevant defect is found and product is not subject to misusage, abuse or normal wear;
(ii) the warranty claim is made during the relevant warranty period
(d) Upon acceptance of a claim under this warranty, Stanley Black Decker will send you a replacement product or arrange for your product to be repaired free of charge.
